What is Cardano?
Cardano is a blockchain-focused platform with its own mainnet. The Hong Kong Input-Output (IOHK) business, directed by Charles Hoskinson, the creator of BitShares and a co-founder of Ethereum, developed Cardano. Additionally, Charles Hoskinson built the Cardano network to provide developers with a platform for the creation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (Dapps). The Goguen mainnet, a blockchain technology with token lock network features, was recently updated by Cardano.
ADA, Cardano's native cryptocurrency, has captured the interest of traders and investors throughout 2021. According to CoinMarketCap, Cardano underwent a severe decline in 2022, falling from a high of $3.10 in September 2021 to slightly under $0.32 in November 2022. Cardano, according to DigitalCoinPrice, may cost $1 in 2025.
